Format
Format is the way a film plays out, for example a single, or a serial. A serial is a series of a story in episodes. A Series is another example but this has a series of different story every episode. A sequel is when a production company decides to make another movie to add onto the first, would be called a sequel.
Task 1: Understanding 'single camera production'

Multi Camera Productions are very different to single camera productions as multi camera productions use more than one camera. An advantage of this is that it gets more angles and makes the production more interesting. |

The shot size: this is how far away the person or object is that the director wants us to focus on.
The camera angle: where the camera is in relation to what the director wants us to be looking at and focusing on.
